कविता- किताबें

किताबें झाँकती हैं बंद आलमारी के शीशों से

बड़ी हसरत से तकती हैं

महीनों अब मुलाकातें नहीं होती

जो शामें उनकी सोहबत में कटा करती थीं

अब अक्सर गुज़र जाती है कम्प्यूटर के पर्दों पर

बड़ी बेचैन रहती हैं क़िताबें

उन्हें अब नींद में चलने की आदत हो गई है

जो कदरें वो सुनाती थी कि जिनके

जो रिश्ते वो सुनाती थी वो सारे उधरे-उधरे हैं

कोई सफा पलटता हूँ तो इक सिसकी निकलती है

कई लफ्ज़ों के मानी गिर पड़े हैं

बिना पत्तों के सूखे टुंड लगते हैं वो अल्फ़ाज़

जिनपर अब कोई मानी नहीं उगते

जबां पर जो ज़ायका आता था जो सफ़ा पलटने का

अब ऊँगली क्लिक करने से बस झपकी गुजरती है

किताबों से जो ज़ाती राब्ता था, वो कट गया है

कभी सीने पर रखकर लेट जाते थे

कभी गोदी में लेते थे

कभी घुटनों को अपने रिहल की सूरत बनाकर

नीम सजदे में पढ़ा करते थे, छूते थे जबीं से

वो सारा इल्म तो मिलता रहेगा आइंदा भी

मगर वो जो किताबों में मिला करते थे सूखे फूल

और महके हुए रुक्के

किताबें मँगाने, गिरने उठाने के बहाने रिश्ते बनते थे

उनका क्या होगा

वो शायद अब नही होंगे!!

Holi

Holi is the festival of colors. It marks the coming of spring. It is celebrated in the month of phalgun. it occurs on the day of full moon.

  This festival is of 2 days. The importance of the 1 day is-long time ago there was one cruel king Hiranyakashypu, he wanted everybody to worship him instead of god.  But Prahlad followed Vishnu. He planned to kill prahlad.  He thought that Holika would sit with him in the bonfire because Holika could not be harmed by fire by virtue of a boon from GOD.But the opposite happened-Holika died and prahlad came out without getting burnt. The triumph of prahlad represents victory of good over evil.  

     In North India on the eve of holy bonfire are lit. They enjoy by singing and dancing. The next day they enjoy with gulal. Some people enjoy this with gulal ,water, water balloons, bucket of water, water guns and harmful colors.

it is a very joyful festival.

Norway Decided to Digitize All the Norwegian Books

The National Library of Norway is planning to digitize all the books by the mid 2020s. 

Yes. All. The. Books. In Norwegian, at least. Hundreds of thousands of them. Every book in the library's holdings.

By law, "all published content, in all media, [must] be deposited with the National Library of Norway," so when the library is finished scanning, the entire record of a people's language and literature will be machine-readable and sitting in whatever we call the cloud in 15 years. 

If you happen to be in Norway, as measured by your IP address, you will be able to access all 20th-century works, even those still under copyright. Non-copyrighted works from all time periods will be available for download. 

Here in the States, we are struggling to make even a small percentage of English-language works accessible to the citizens of our fine country, despite the efforts of groups like the Digital Public Library of America, Hathi Trust, and (I dare say)Google. 

Which means that we are not ready for the apocalypse. But the Norwegians, that's a people preparing for the deep future. Now they are home to the Svalbard Seed Vault and they will have all the books stored away. 

Imagine digital archaeologists coming across the remains of early 21st century civilization in an old data center on the warming tundra. They look around, find some scraps of Buzzfeed and The Atlantic, maybe some Encyclopaedia Britannicas, and then, gleaming in the data: a complete set of Norwegian literature. 

Suddenly, the Norwegians become to 27th-century humans what the Greeks were to the Renaissance. Everyone names the children of the space colonies Per and Henrik, Amalie and Sigrid. The capital of our new home planet will be christened Oslo.
