This workshop is for children to discover that reading is fun. The children will be taught how to select and read books from the library collection.
The session will help children to :
- develop a love for reading
- imagine and spark creativity
- learn how to communicate & understand art
- encourage children to read and enjoy books from other cultures.
There will be a prize (every week!) for the child who demonstrates good reading skills and is able to to apply the guidelines taught to them during the workshop.

The workshop will take place on 15, 22 and 29 September and 5 and 6 October.
It is open for children between 8 and 12 years.
Registration fee:
INR 1000 for library members
INR 2000 for non-members (includes a complimentary Gold six-month library membership)
